Cub Day is Wednesday, July 10!
Reminders for Cub Day:
- Parking – Parking will be in Parking Lot #1, which is just before the security gate/entrance to the Camp. Please note that parking is limited, so we strongly encourage carpooling if possible.
- Arrival – Once you have parked, please walk to the Security Gate. You will be met there by members of the Tourist Information Centre team, who will bring you down into the camp. It is a bit of a walk into the camp, so please be prepared.
- Program – We have a set program for the youth, which will be done in a round-robin style. All Cubs will have the chance to participate in each of the planned activities.
- Paperwork – Each group is responsible for their own AAF’s. These go to your Group Commissioner. There is no need to bring your AAF with you.
- Reminders (IMPORTANT) – We will be outside for the entire day. It has been quite hot at camp so far, so please ensure your youth are dressed appropriately, and that they each bring a hat, water bottle (there are several drinking water stations to refill their bottles at), and sunscreen. They will need to reapply their sunscreen throughout the day, so please ensure they have some on them.
- Lunch – A friendly reminder that Cubs are responsible for bringing a bagged lunch with them. It would also be a good idea for them to bring a few snacks to keep them going throughout the day. IMPORTANT – Please do not pack food that contains any kind of nut or strawberries as we do have youth with severe allergies to these foods.
- Please be at camp before 10 am. If you will be unable to be there prior to 10 am, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make arrangements to meet you and bring you into camp.
